The AKhai-teke Buckskin Mare is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont. Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

The breed is tough and resilient, having adapted to the harshness of Turkmenistan lands, where horses must live without much food or water.
